2. 영어 분야(English Language Teaching Position)
Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology (DGIST, http://en.dgist.ac.kr)
is seeking an experienced, qualified candidate to fill a full time faculty position
at its School of Undergraduate Studies, starting in August, 2018.
EMPLOYMENT LEVEL: Non-Tenure Track
LOCATION: Daegu, Korea
QUALIFICATIONS
* MASTER's degree or higher required
(Degree holders in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education and related fields preferred)
* Native or near-native English proficiency required
* More than 2 years of college-level teaching experience required
* Experience in writing English course books preferred
* Experience in teaching scientific writing preferred
* Teaching experience at science and technology schools preferred
* Teaching experiences using e-learning technologies preferred
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:
* 15 teaching hours/week
* Developing in-house textbooks
* Teaching non-credit classes during semesters and breaks, if asked
* Assisting in the operation of the English program and the School (e.g, teaching materials reviewing/editing, class-related administrative paperwork, student counseling)
CONTRACT PERIOD
* One year, starting on August 1, 2018 through July 31, 2019
* Renewable upon evaluation
